Sunday Fun Day

This weekend as a whole has been pretty damn near amazing.
Friday night we did FLV photo shoot until about 11PM, but only got about 1/3 done. But just felt amazing to finally be DOING IT!

Saturday was GREAT because I literally did nothing. Jumped in the pool, made mussels, had some pals over...and at the last minute, Japes and I decided to go to LA that night and wake up for the UNIQUE LA mini market/Farmers Market.

I didn't buy anything on sunday...because well, I am amazing broke as a joke. But I was totally digging on 92.7% of all the designers and artists that day.




Japes and I ending up watching Paper Heart at the Archlight that afternoon. But not before we enjoyed a cocktail at the cafe bar. What a nice, nice day!

It was a long weekend. Wedding in Santa Barbara, Dodger's game with the fam, & eating/drinking everything that is wrong! My liver hates me. So what if I woke up at eleven today.

The hotel was super cute. Very Spanish colonial. It was apart of The Leading Small Hotels of the World. Ha how Japes and I love our hotel labels! Lunch was so so, but it might have just been the fact that I couldn't really keep anything down after a night of cheap wine drinking! Damn you pinot grigio, what did I ever do to you? We promise to go back...we really didn't get to spend anytime in the hotel because we were running off to the wedding.

I didn't get any pictures really because I broke our camera....damn you pinot grigio again! BUT I WORE THIS....which I was so excited about!



dodger game...great, dodger dog? Didn't really live up to it's name. Can home...tired, tired, tired and watched the first dvd of the second season of Flight of the Concords! Beautiful.

Now I'm getting back to serious. Hopefully buying the mannequin today and setting up this weeks shoots. Check back!

We did it! Yeah, I might have been like a good 90 degrees outside...but we made it happen! Here are just a few pictures from my iPhone to give you a sneak peek ;)

Thank you to my amazing team today, we had so much fun! The girls looked amazing...everyone loved the clothes...makeup off the charts...just really positive all the way around! Even with my massive hangover today, things got cute!

from the beginning...

I want to start off my saying that it's happening...

The very idea that started a little over a year ago and has had a large piece of my heart and given be mini heart attacks along the way is now coming to life and taking form. I was working at what was suppose to be my dream job that kind of fell flat and came across my inspiration. An idea, that I could work for myself...buy things that I love...connect with people and showcase their talents...give back...and express and show the world what I love about fashion!


That anything worth spending good hard cash on should end up VINTAGE!

I love that a quality piece of fashion can continue to have value, be loved all over again for the first time, and be seen as NEW.

First Love Vintage is about having fun, looking back, making smart buying decisions, and doing something for a greater cause. If anything I hope that people will read this blog and maybe get their own inspiration. I love reading/seeing what makes people tick...get up in the morning...or gives them the chills.

Future is ultra bright....I've been so blinded by it for a while now...but I finally invested in a good set of shades and I'm ready to show you what makes me smile.
